Birth and Death are part of our lives. It is natural that one who comes in this world dies one or the other day. Similarly we join some business or work to earn our livelihood. As the days and years pass by, we retire from our work or job through which we earned our bread and butter. This is the retirement period. Senior retirement is a phenomenon where the senior officials and professionals who have contributed enough and retire from their work.

Our lives run smoothly as long as we follow our routine and earn. But as we grow older and older, we start to think about our life after our retirement. Senior Retirement is an exciting time, but it can also be a scary one. People who are employed in government jobs do get pension after their senior retirement. They have fewer worries about their future life. Pension is the fixed amount of money that such people receive at the end of each month. But it is very difficult to find a government job. Most people are employed in private firms or business. To them the period after retirement is a scary one. Also if such people have no children to look after them during their old age then these people start to find alternative solutions to spend life smoothly after retirement.

After a person retires from ones job, his complete life-style changes. The next day after senior retirement would be the day when the person will have fun and will enjoy it as there would be no formal work or task to be accomplished. He will rise up late in morning. Newspaper and Television can be source of entertainment for him. Also the person would be waiting for his grandchildren to give him company and share some time in his boring day. But he finds all the family members are busy with their own routine. This might continue for some days after which this will become boring.

In senior retirement days person starts to find himself lonely. His thinking and attitude towards life starts to change. He would find ample of free time whole day and would get bored. Most of people cannot find some activity by which they can spend their time. A person with this type of attitude starts to find his rest part of life boring. But few people start a new phase of their life at this stage. This is the time they would start to find a routine for themselves. At this time one has plenty of options

Social service would be the best option for the person to get involved in social activity. By this he would get a golden opportunity to meet lot of people having different lifestyles and share his experience with them. The other options would be Yoga, Gardening, join a course or start reading a book. These are some of the various activities one can get indulged in to spend his time and live a better and charming life after his retirement.
