If you can afford to make full payments every month and make frequent use of the credit card at the BP gas stations, then this card will be ideal for you.

Features Of The Card

You carry the BP Visa Rewards Card for free because there is no annual fee. The credit card provides the cardholders a 0% introductory annual percentage rate (APR) on balance transfers as well as purchases for the time-period of six months. After the expiration of the introductory period, the APR jumps to the 15.24%.

The regular APR together with the Two Cycles Average Daily Balance" method (which is costlier than the common "Average Daily Balance" method), followed for calculating balances renders the card unsuitable for carrying balances.

The Card And Its Benefits

The reward program of the card enables the cardholder to earn rebates that are applicable for free gasoline at the BP gas stations.

You can earn double rebates conveniently for the initial two months. Again, for using the BP Visa Rewards Card at the participating BP businesses, you can obtain 5% rebates for making BP gas purchases. On making the eligible purchases for dining and traveling purposes, car rentals, airlines and lodging services you will gain 2% rebates. All the other eligible purchases will give you 1% rebates.

The rebates can be redeemed for cash back checks, gift cards and a Conservation Fund donation. When your rebates sum up to a minimum amount of $25, then the rewards will be redeemable. There is, of course, no limit to the earning of rebates and you can gain unlimited rewards.

The card also offers platinum benefits, such as auto rental insurance, different travel and emergency assistant services and travel accident insurance.

Added Advantages

The BP Visa Rewards Card provides some common credit card benefits, like many Internet account related services, lost as well as stolen card reporting, an end of the year financial statement, and purchase protection.

The card also offers the cardholders no liability for the unauthorized transactions, emergency card and cash replacement, and other benefits.

It is better to be careful about the restrictions, exclusions and limitations that are applicable. Prior to opening an account, you must refer to the Guide to Benefits for detailed information.
